Mid-summer is a laid-back vacation in San Elijo. We may watch a Ridgway’s Rail taking a leisurely dip at the edge of the reeds, enjoy Bushtits playing follow-the-leader through the brush, or cheer on a bumble bee as he tries to find the hidden entrance to a white sage blossom. But will you see a Skimmer this time? The hunt is half the thrill. Ready for this summer’s wildlife adventure? Weather permitting.
