SUMMARY:Nintendo Gives Early Access to New Games and Delivers Interactive Adventures at San Diego Comic-Con 2026
DESCRIPTION:Nintendo is bringing new games and new ways to play to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con\, where attendees will be among the first in the U.S. to try the newly announced active game Nintendo Switch Sports Resort for the Nintendo Switch 2 system and step into the treasure-hunting action-adventure game Splatoon Raiders. Throughout the convention center and downtown San Diego\, Nintendo will host friendly competitions\, solo challenges\, and surprise activities. Guests should also be sure to keep an eye out for a trolley decked out in Splatoon Raiders graphics driving through the area to help them get around town in style!\nWHEN AND WHERE:\n• First U.S. Hands-On with Nintendo Switch Sports Resort\, July 23-26: From 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. PT inside The Pointe in the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel\, guests will be able to try out 4 of the game’s 12 different sports. There will be a first come/first serve queue where visitors can wait for the opportunity to try out the game. No Comic-Con badge is required.\n• Opportunity to Compete Against The Rizzler in Nintendo Switch Sports Resort\, July 23: Between 1:30-3:30 p.m. PT in The Promenade at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel\, visitors who have already played Nintendo Switch Sports Resort will have the opportunity to compete against social media creator The Rizzler. Interested participants will be randomly selected by Nintendo event staff; prizing will not be included as part of this experience. No Comic-Con badge is required.\n• Celebrate Splatoon Raiders Launch on the SDCC Showroom Floor\, July 23-26: To celebrate launch weekend\, guests can fend off Salmonid foes\, raid for treasure and splash a lot of ink in the new Nintendo Switch 2 game Splatoon Raiders at the Nintendo booth located in Hall A\, booth #235 on the convention center showroom floor.\n• BRISK x Splatoon Raiders Island Hideout\, July 24-25: Beyond the show floor\, fans can also visit the Brisk x Splatoon Raiders Island Hideout\, an interactive experience inspired by Splatoon Raiders brought to life by BRISK™ Iced Tea outside IGN’s Summer of Gaming Pavilion on the corner of 6th Ave. and Island Ave. Open to all (no badge required)\, fans can step into the action with a Splatoon-inspired Ink ‘n’ Aim Challenge\, then cool down and recharge at the BRISK™ bar with refreshing BRISK™ Iced Tea. From there\, attendees can jump into gameplay with a hands-on demo of Splatoon Raiders on Nintendo Switch 2 before completing their journey by collecting exclusive co-branded merchandise while supplies last.
