A group of moms (and their kids!) get together at a furniture and home décor store and what do you think happens? We walk around for almost two hours then can’t decide what to spend our money on because we love all of it! We had the privilege of shopping at new Kirkland’s store in National City in anticipation of their big Grand Opening celebration this weekend!!
Our whole group had such a good time! And we each found pieces to fit our unique personalities. From rustic to shabby chic to traditional, we discovered that Kirkland’s has something for every style. Even the kids found things, maybe too many things. 😉
I went in thinking about a few specific things I have been looking for to complete certain places in my home. Something for the mantle, maybe some new pillows, and a small table for the entryway were all on my mind. I fell in love with this Fall themed table in the process.
Kirkland’s has a lot of decorative pieces with fun and inspirational sayings, that will complement any room in your home. I finally decided on this cute arrow to add to my fireplace mantle.
There is a display of coffee mugs with saying on them and outdoor monogrammed glasses and this mug just spoke to me. I’m sure my friends and family understand why.
The kids had a great time finding fun decorations too. They spent a good portion of the time obsessed with these color-changing sequins pillows, which gave us moms plenty of time to check out everything else. Of course, we had to go home with one of these pillows.

We had a great time, and went home with shopping bags full of goodies we found at great prices. We bought everything from little succulents, to pillows, to gifts for friends, and envisioned a dozen other things fitting into our homes.
