Time for a MUCH-NEEDED School Resource Guide! Especially in San Diego!

With so many great choices from public school to private, religious to charter, online or homeschooling, San Diego Mom’s Blog wants to help.  Choosing your child’s school is one of the most important decisions you’ll make for them. That is why we developed this guide with helpful descriptions, links directly to our schools’ websites, and all the contact information at your fingertips!  Starting at daycare, to preschool, into K-12 education, we have all levels of education that you need.

Make sure to share it with your friends. A special thank you to St. Paul’s Lutheran School, and all of our other sponsors for making this guide a true resource.

For over 70 years, St. Paul’s has been providing an academically challenging, fully accredited, high-quality Christian education. We offer affordable tuition, small classes, an exceptional music program, Spanish, technology, P.E., art, and before and after care is available!  Our students participate in outdoor education, athletics, and help in our school garden. The right education can open doors, but a well-rounded Christian education can open their future. We want each child to become the unique person God designed and desires for them to be. “Achieving academic excellence in a family-oriented and faith-based learning environment where each child can become the best person they can be.”  Faith, Foundation, Family, is what we are known for at St. Paul’s. King-Chávez Neighborhood of Schools is comprised of 6 public charter schools and 1 preschool, located within the Historic Barrio District and Downtown neighborhoods of San Diego. At King-Chávez schools, educating students involves more than the mastery of daily lessons. An unwavering personal investment in each student, rooted from a foundation of love, sets this school system apart from others.

KCNS is committed to promoting social justice through educational reform while closing the achievement gap between traditionally underserved students in the inner-city of San Diego and their suburban counterparts. The mission of KCNS is simple, yet powerful: “We seek excellence in academics, arts, and athletics from the foundation of love.”

  1. I don’t understand where the “guide” is? There is one cluster of schools mentioned, at least from what my phone is showing me…
