I remember when I found out I was having a child. I dotted all of my i’s and crossed all my t’s when it came to planning for her arrival. I read at least 15 books, downloaded apps (which I didn’t use) and prepared myself the best I knew how with no experience.
There is one common thread in my preparation for this beautiful child . . . and that is that no one directs, recommends, or shares with you (in my experience) the idea to name a legal guardian for your kids in the case that something should happen to you.
