Frenectomies/Lip & Tongue-Tie
Lip-ties and tongue-ties are issues where a patient’s oral function is inhibited by a short or thick frenulum, which is a small band of tissue connected to each of these structures. This can prevent someone (usually a child) from eating, speaking, or even breathing comfortably, but thankfully, our team is able to help. With a dental laser, we can painlessly snip or loosen a troublesome frenulum in such a way that even the youngest patient won’t shed a tear.
