Sea Breeze Pediatrics was established by Dr. Robert L. Bjork, Jr., MD in 2013 as a solo practice to offer the highest quality comprehensive medical care to infants, children and adolescents.

In order to provide for the necessary time for each patient visit, and to hire the most skilled, kind, and compassionate medical assistants and staff, in a premium office venue, and with the best vaccine stock and medical supplies, this practice is designed as a “PPO-only” business (while EPO’s, POS, and fee-for-service are also accepted): This design allows for the maximum reimbursement from insurance companies for services rendered for our valued patients and families, which is required in order to afford to continue to deliver the highest quality of medical care in this day and age in San Diego.

Our great city has the ocean as its greatest landmark, and as a life-sustaining resource, but also as a reservoir of scientific exploration. As locals to the San Diego area, we also frequently visit the sea for recreation and for inspiration. Thus, the ocean-theme of our office was conceived, where we are close enough to the sea to enjoy the ocean breeze, and the healthful benefits of living near the marine environment.
