With a mission of connecting children to nature through farm-based education, Sugar Sweet Farm has served thousands of local children through farm tours, parties, and farm camps. Each day on the farm brings new topics for ever-changing exploration and fun. Campers grow, learn, and play through creative, hands-on projects, hikes with llamas, horse interactions, crafts, games, gardening, hanging out with and caring for the animals, gathering eggs, swimming, and much more. We offer camp sessions on a daily and half-day basis in order to create flexibility for your complex schedules.  Though the daily rhythm is consistent with animal visits, crafts, and swimming, each session of camp is unique, so most families select several days of camp that fit their schedule. Camp activities are different in the morning and afternoon sessions so full day campers will be engaged and delighted throughout their day.

Gain practical instruction and hands-on experience in the art of counseling at Sugar Sweet Farm. Through daily classes led by Staff Development Directors you’ll learn to care for campers and animals, lead safe and fun activities, foster camper harmony, and host at meals. Under the mentorship of senior counselor leaders, learn how to support the camp program and work directly with campers from day one. Learn valuable leadership skills as you grow in selfless awareness, ego-free responsibility, and unconditional love.

Counselor In-Training Camper Program

Age: 13 to 16 – Must have turned 13 by June 1st

Price: weekly 5-day sessions are $530/week
