“Make Believe at the Mall” Day at Otay Ranch Town Center

Imaginations will once again run wild at the annual “Make Believe at the Mall” day on Tuesday, April 8 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Otay Ranch Town Center in Chula Vista. Held during the center’s popular weekly farmers market, the free event encourages imagination and interactive play with numerous activities, crafts and character appearances designed around the power of imagination and make believe.

Kids can strike a pose and snap a shot with their favorite character Spider-Man, Pikachu and Doc McStuffins will all be on hand for photo opportunities during this year’s event.

From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, in addition to the lineup of the market’s regular selection of certified farm stands, unique street foods and handicraft items, families can enjoy a number of free activities, including:

– Superhero and Fairytale themed make-and-take crafts
– Character appearances: Spider-Man, Pikachu and Doc McStuffins
– Princess inspired hairdos and crowns
– Free Face Painting
– Free Photo Booth with multiple theme options
– Live DJ with upbeat and energetic tunes
