In a comical retelling of The Princess and the Pea, a faraway kingdom faces a royal dilemma—no one can marry until Prince Dauntless finds a suitable princess. Unfortunately, his overbearing mother, Queen Aggravain, rejects every eligible princess with her outrageous “royalty tests,” leaving the whole kingdom romantically frustrated.
Desperate to marry his true love, Sir Harry sets out to find a match for Dauntless — and returns with Princess Winnifred the Woebegone, a bold and unconventional noblewoman from the swamp. Her free-spirited ways clash with the Queen’s image of royal perfection, but she quickly wins the hearts of everyone, especially Dauntless himself.
