Seaster Stories Film Night

Changing Tides Foundation and Girl Grom Surf Club are proud to present Seaster Stories 2026, the second annual women’s film night celebrating storytelling, community, and the next generation of women in surfing.
Taking place on Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Oceanside Museum of Art, this year’s event marks the first collaboration between the two nonprofits, bringing together organizations that collectively support women and girls throughout every stage of their surf journey—from introducing young girls to the ocean to mentoring emerging female leaders and environmental advocates. By celebrating and supporting female surfing, the event raises critical funds that expand access to surf mentorship, leadership development, and environmental education programs.
The evening will feature live music, community activations, food and drinks, a silent auction, and an inspiring lineup of films celebrating women in surfing. This year’s featured film is Now Days, a Red Bull Media House production showcasing powerful stories from the women’s surf community.
Proceeds from the event directly benefit the programs of both organizations, helping create greater access to the ocean for women and girls across Southern California.
