First of all- a BIG Thank You to our event sponsor, Costco, for hosting such a fun event for all the sites within the City Moms Blog Network across the whole country!
98 participating Costcos located in different cities across the nation hosted Costco Mom Hour! We started at 9am and got to shop an hour earlier then everyone else.
San Diego Moms Blog readers had the opportunity to grab some swag (the first 100 guests at each location), get some free breakfast, and all the samples (starting at 9am!) were aimed directly at moms and kiddos. Talk about pumpkin pie samples! YUM!
Eventhough there was a line around the building that mirrored that of Black Friday, every single person who was at our La Mesa and Chula Vista locations had a smile on their face and were incredibly happy to be there!
Costco also had a scavenger hunt for our moms. They had the opportunity to find items all over the building, and if they did, they could return it by 10 am for a chance to win one of two $100 Costco cash cards or a year supply of Tide Pods! We had lucky winners at each location who were thrilled to win those prizes!
For us at San Diego Moms Blog, we were grateful for the opportunity to meet some of our readers face to face, and take advantage of the fun atmosphere that Costco provided us. Although it was busy, it was a nice and calm atmosphere, and really fun! Not one kiddo was empty handed! There were so many samples to keep those early risers happy. We even had some #futurecostcomembers helping to hand out swag bags and Holiday magazines.
We can’t wait for next years Costco Mom Hour event! Stay subscribed to our weekly newsletter so we can keep you in the loop for all our future events!
