Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Costco and the Costco Mom Hour, but all opinions expressed are my own.

In case you aren’t a Costco fanatic like me, I need to fill you in on all the reasons why Costco is AMAZING!

My bi-montly trips to costco include some of the things you see in this photo. (The dog in the very background is also sitting on a Kirkland dog bed from Costco.)

Costco is like mom heaven. You walk through the doors and the smell of the bulk items that will fill your home enters in through your nostrils and saturates your brain! You look at your list, but you don’t need it. You know exactly what you need from Costco, because it’s part of your routine. For my family, we are past the diapers and wipes stage, but that was a must have item every time we went.

Here are the top 10 must haves from Costco:

  1. The Kirkland brand TP and PT (as it is written on my list) are what we call our “quarterly” items, as we don’t need them as often as the rest of our items.costco must haves
  2. Meats. There is a wide variety of meats and fish, with many organic options. One of the reasons I LOVE Costco is because of their organic options. The buy-in-bulk option is perfect for breaking up the meats into smaller portions to fit whatever sized family that you have. They also even have a vacuum sealer available to purchase that you can use to help save those meats for longer! Costco’s meat department is USDA Choice grade or better.
  3. Organic produce. You can’t go to Costco and not buy their organic produce! Whether it’s frozen or fresh, Costco is constantly adding organic options. The prices can not be beat so we constantly scoop up salads, and seasonal veggies and fruit. ($5 watermelon in the summer!)
  4. Organic Juice/ Snackscostco must haves
  5. Diapers and wipes. (Insider tip- Kirkland brand diapers are actually Huggies brand!) When you have babies, getting those diapers and wipes in bulk can save you a ton of money!
  6. Organic butter /eggs. You can’t bake without a plethora of eggs and butter. You can freeze butter, and if you are a big baker, or just love eggs, buying them in bulk is necessary to save you multiple trips to the grocery store.
  7. Dog food/ pet supplies. We get our dog food once a month, in a 40 lb. bag, along with dental dog chews, and treats. Our Kirkland dog bed has lasted us a good 5 years so far! You can also get your furry friends their pet meds.costco must haves
  8. COFFEE. Need I say more? You have it in bags of beans that you can ground at costco or at home, cans of ground coffee, or even boxes of k-cups. So much variety for all your caffeine needs!costco must haves
  9. Seasonal items. Seasonal items have to be my favorite. There’s Kirkland wrapping paper and supplies, discounted seasonal tickets to local events and movies, discounted seasonal clothing, and other seasonal foods and plants. costco must haves
  10. WINE. Costcos wine and liquor selection is huge. If you are planning for a party, or just want to stock up your cupboard, (we ARE moms who love our wine) there’s plenty for you to choose from.

In addition to all the great items that costco has for the home, there’s also an array of services that Costco offers! I have gotten my tire replaced quicker and cheaper then other tire places.

For the home- solar systems, heating and cooling, flooring, closets, water treatment, window coverings, garage doors, auto and home insurance and even buying a car! You can plan a vacation and shop for your business as well. So many options!
