It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. We kicked off December with our 2nd annual Sips and Sweets with Santa: Santa Sweet Shop. It was an enchanting time, in a winter candy land. Our co-host Hotel Karlan helped make sure the ballroom was perfectly set up to accommodate the 50 plus families that joined us. They didn’t stop there, the Karlan staff was present to lend a helping hand throughout the event. Not to mention sponsoring the hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookie station, making our sell out event nothing short of spectacular.
This year Santa brought Mrs. Claus along to take pictures with the kiddos. Crystella photography is a true professional, capturing the most beautiful moments of the children with Santa. Check your emails if you haven’t yet, picture are available now! (The link will expire 2/2/2018)
The ambiance was full of the Christmas Spirit, tons of laughter and joy. Babsiely photography did a fantastic job capturing the event in action.
While Santa was on a milk and cookie break. The Storybook Character Company brought the Ice sisters, who lead an interactive story time that had the majority of the room singing along. Their joy was contagious spreading happiness throughout the event.
Our title sponsors Gymboree Scripps Poway Pkwy, Gymboree Clairemont and Gymboree Solana Beach, came out and sponsored the very popular cookie decorating station.
Kiddos were given the opportunity to write letters to Santa, our sponsor BFF stampers are making sure each one of those children (address provided) gets a letter back!
Karlan had blank Christmas Cards avaiable to send to our military, Rockin Jump came out with their prize wheel, Barons Market gave samples of the famous Barons brownies, Happy Family was present with multiple samples for our guests. Rise Buddy healthy, gluten-free chips were a big hit among the crowd.
There was never a dull moment, our sponsors Soft Play Zone set up an indoor play area for the toddlers, with a ball pit, which made it just as popular as Santa.
Once Upon a farm handed out delicious squeeze pouches and taught us how to recycle the pouch lids, making cute reindeer ornaments.
Our friends at Lush and Lavish were there to show off their amazing body scrubs. Siena, 11 years old missed her soccer games, to spread the word that proceeds of all scrubs sold will go to #HashtagLunchBag, which makes lunches to hand out to the homeless. She hopes to host her own event soon too.
Check out our giveaway sponsors, which included a staycation at Hotel Karlan, family 4 pack to San Diego Childrens Discovery Museum, movie tickets to Ultra Star Cinema’s and more….
