at Lovely Leaps Dance Studio (Escondido)

Lovely Leaps is excited to offer dance classes to North County Families with children ages 10 months to 10 years old! They will be hosting a special Halloween Princess Dance for your little dancer for only $10!

Join them on October 31st at their Escondido studio where your little one can have a fun dance class and meet Princess Aurora afterwards! This event will be held on Halloween morning, so costumes are encouraged!

Haunted Aquarium Remix
at Birch Aquarium at Scripps
 
Thursday, October 1st – Saturday, 31st

Haunted Aquarium Remix is a Halloween-themed celebration geared towards children ages 2 to 10. Included with admission, the inaugural event includes fun, outdoor activities that are designed with safety in mind. Upon entering, each child will receive a Discovery Booklet.

From there, they will have the opportunity to learn about and touch spooky creeps of the deep  on Tide Pool Plaza, including slimy seaweed, small sharks, rays and other local animals, as well as enjoy a haunted kelp maze, find hidden pumpkins, and explore fun decor throughout the aquarium.

Children are encouraged to dress in costumes. Haunted Aquarium Remix runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the entire month of October. With state and local restrictions changing rapidly, the aquarium is planning to continue this outdoor celebration even if the indoor part of the aquarium has to close. TICKETS: Included with admission.

The Super Dentists

The Super Dentists Save Halloween 2020
at The Super Dentists (Kearny Mesa)
Saturday, October 31st from 11am-1pm

The Super Dentists love to celebrate Halloween and 2020 is no different; their superheroes are working hard to Save Halloween with a special and safe drive-thru Halloween. So, grab your Super Family and quarantine crew for a 2020-style Halloween celebration, Saturday, Oct. 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot of their Kearny Mesa office, 9737 Aero Drive (92123). 

TheSuperDentistsSaveHalloween.com will be a contactless, drive-thru event with a car costume contest, special gifts for the first 50 cars, celebrity judges, including Star 94.1 Morning Show Personality, Jesse Lozano, music, The Super Dentists characters, free photos and lots of fun!  

The family-friendly event is FREE & open to the public, but The Super Dentists are asking families to RSVP via The Super Dentists Facebook event.

Halloween Trail at Petco Park
October 23-31st | 4pm-10pm

Join us along the Halloween Trail at Petco Park, a socially distanced one-way Halloween-themed pumpkin patch in Gallagher Square where you will have the opportunity to visit various themed booths, collect candy and toys and partake in the spooky festivities from October 23 – November 1.

October 9th – 11th, 16th -18th, 23rd – 25th

Come celebrate Halgloween at the San Diego Zoo and glow with them! Glowing fun with giggles and grins. The San Diego Zoo has designed the entertainment to allow for social distancing, so you can have fun safely. Kids 11 and younger can come in costumes that align with their guidelines.

Enjoy their bubble dance party, make your way through their python path, enjoy Dr. Zoolittles Mask-erade, watch the amazing acrobats, and enjoy spooky organ playing as well as fun upbeat music with their live band and Zoo Rock Radio!

The Scream Zone | Del Mar Fairgrounds

The Scream Zone has been tempting terror-lovers for the past 23 years, but the 2020 event will take a whole new spin. To comply with COVID-19 health and safety protocols, guests will experience the frights from the dis-comfort of their own automobile. Vehicles will weave through a mile-long course transformed into scenes from classic horror films and the demented minds of the Scream Zone’s imaginative creators. At the Drive-Thru Scream Zone: Road Kill, the only roadside assistance coming to your aid is a triple threat of zombies, serial killers, and killer clowns. 

Tickets to the drive-thru nightmare start at $45.

Sea World’s Spooktacular
Every Friday – Sunday: October 2nd – November 1st 

Get your kids’ costumes ready, because SeaWorld has spooky surprises and fall fun in store at SeaWorld Spooktacular.

Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat | Lemon Grove
October 31st from 6-8pm

Let’ have some fun! Drive through our parking lot and safely collect treats. Come out and join them on October 31st from 6pm-8pm for their Drive-Through Trunk or Treat. Safely collect your treats from the comfort of your car as you drive through their parking lot.

All volunteers will be practicing safe social distancing and wearing proper protective equipment. Make sure you dress up and decorate your own vehicle! This event is absolutely FREE! For safety purposes, no walkthroughs will be allowed.

MeBe San Diego Trunk or Treat | MeBe San Diego Learning Center (San Diego)
Friday, October 30th from 5pm – 6:30pm 

MeBe Family: You’re invited to our Trunk or Treat event at the San Diego Learning Center! Wear festive costumes and join them for this fun Trunk or Treat event at the San Diego Learning Center! In addition to costumes, please wear face masks and practice social distancing to keep this event fun and safe for everyone. We’ll have games, treats, and allergen friendly options!

The Trunk or Treat will take place at the MeBe San Diego Learning Center parking lot, located at 3878 Ruffin Rd, San Diego, CA 92123. This is a family-friendly event for MeBe clients and families in the community.

Moonlight Amphitheater Fright Fest Weekend
October 8th – 10th at 7:30pm

The Moonlight operates throughout the year as an outdoor movie venue and is following the State Industry Covid-19 Guidelines for reopening. 

Moonlight’s restaurant partner, Kitchens for Good, will provide pre-packaged snack, meal, and beverage options. Pre-ordering will be available so guests may pay ahead and simply pick up their order upon arrival. A small number of additional boxed-meals and snacks will be available onsite at the event and will be available while supplies last. Beer and wine available for purchase when a grill item from the menu is ordered.

Not So Spooky Farm | Norco, CA
October 26th – November 29th

This Fall experience an all new drive through immersive experience. You can choose the terrifying journey through Fright Farms, where something terrible has happened in the sleepy town of Hilldale. There have been strange news reports, animal sightings, and Emma Parker is missing, follow the clues to help her!  Join your convoy and buckle up for ages 13 and up!

Or choose the family fun adventure of Not So Spooky Farm. Stingy Jack was cursed to wander the earth with only his Jack O Lantern to light his way. After uncovering a map in a forgotten temple Stingy is now on a mission to uncover candy clues to get the fabled treasure of dread pirate Bluebeard. Will you face the dangers ahead to find the reward? For all ages!

Fright Farms runs daily from 5pm until 1am. Not So Spooky Farm runs daily from 10am until 10pm.

Nights of the Jack | King Gillette Ranch – Calabasas, CA
October 1st – November 1st

NIGHTS OF THE JACK is a family friendly DRIVE-THRU Halloween experience. Expect to see some larger than life pumpkin installations as well as detailed artist depictions of your favorite movie stars, sports heroes and animated characters. 

The driving trail itself is approximately one mile long and it is self-guided from your vehicle. Visitors are welcome to experience the attractions at a 5MPH speed limit. The total experience should take you approximately one hour with about 30 minutes of it being spent on the trail.

$69 (up to 7 people), $20 large vehicle add on 8-12 people

Paint and Sip | Gaslamp
Saturday, October 24th 1pm-4pm

 

Paint with the  Hilton Gaslamp at their “Happy Halloween” event. You’ll follow along step-by-step with fun and entertaining Master Artist and instructor Darrin Fuller. This memorable outdoor painting event, on the beautiful Starlight Terrace, will allow you to explore your creative side in a safe and fun environment as you create your own masterpiece! Please remember to dress appropriately.

Participants will be seated at safe distances from other painters. Masks are required while on the property, but may be removed while eating and drinking throughout the event. The hotel will offer a 20% discount on Marketplace beer, wine and snacks. Discounted Event parking will be provided through the Valet at $5.00 per vehicle and will be waived with a $20.00 purchase of food and beverage.

Halloween FULL MOON Paddleboard Adventure Tour
October 31st from 5-8pm | Mission Beach

Enjoy a Guided Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) Sunset Evening Tour of the famous, recreational Mission Bay Park in San Diego – the largest manmade, aquatic park in the country known for its water sports, boating, and sunsets! And for this Special Halloween Event, they will continue their paddle into the evening so you can enjoy the Bay under the magical full moonlight!
