The holiday season came to life in South County as Cox Communications continued its commitment to community connection by sponsoring the annual Breakfast with Santa celebration at the Boys & Girls Clubs of South County Imperial Beach Clubhouse.
Held on January 8, 2026, the festive morning welcomed 100 club members and children from the surrounding community for a joyful holiday experience. Families enjoyed a hot breakfast alongside a full lineup of kid-favorite activities, including arts and crafts, face painting, dessert decorating, and a magical visit from Santa Claus. Each child also received a holiday gift, creating meaningful memories for families from Imperial Beach, Chula Vista, and nearby South County neighborhoods.
Community leaders and partners joined Cox Communications in celebrating the season of giving, including Mitch McKay and Stephanie James, President and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of South County. Representing Cox Communications was Chanelle Hawken, San Diego Market Vice President, who reinforced the company’s dedication to making a lasting impact locally.
