Registration is now open for the San Diego Family Magazine’s 2026 Cover Kids Search and local kids ages 2–11 are invited to audition for the opportunity to be featured on the cover of a future issue of San Diego Family Magazine or San Diego Out & About with Kids. The deadline to sign up is May 15th at 11:59PM PST.
If your child lights up every room they walk into with big smiles, expressive personalities, and natural confidence in front of the camera, this could be the perfect opportunity for them to step into the spotlight.
The annual Cover Kids Search celebrates charismatic San Diegokids across four categories:
✨ Ages 2–4
✨ Ages 5–7
✨ Ages 8–11
✨ Multiples + Parent/Child
Winners from each category will be selected to appear on an upcoming magazine cover, making this a fun and memorable experience for local families.
Whether your child is outgoing, silly, sweet, energetic, or simply loves posing for photos, the Cover Kids Search is all about celebrating personality, confidence, and the amazing kids that make San Diego shine.
