It is a great apple, Asian pear, and grape year. The weather and the bees cooperated and we have a lot of fruit on the trees. We are taking appointments daily at 2 pm for groups. Please Note: the first three weekends are full except for 9/27/25 and 9/28. Reserve your spot now before they are all gone! We will be picking probably until at least the end of October depending on what is left.

This year we will be open to schedule a group that picks 20 or more bags every day of the week at 2pm or later. The whole apple and Asian pear picking experience will last about 2 hours. Your group must have an appointment. In addition to taking home your apples, you get Julian and apple facts, a tour of the orchard, and your own free apple cider making and tasting experience. We are a U-Pick apple orchard where for only $15 you can pick a “half peck of apples” (and Asian pears if available) which is about 5 pounds and spend a fabulous afternoon in our beautiful mountain orchard and charming gold-rush era town – Julian, California.

The apples are not perfect like store apples, our apples are pesticide free and all natural – they have never been sprayed. Our soil has not been contaminated with pesticides or weed killers either. A deposit of $75 is required up front to hold the reservation two weeks before the date. This is then used for the first 5 bags of apples purchased.
