At Alpine Acres Sanctuary Farm®, summer camp means showing up to work — alongside our actual animal keepers, on a real working sanctuary with nearly 200 rescued animals across 32 species.

Your child won’t be watching from behind a fence. They’ll be in it — feeding the tortoises, walking the goats, harvesting vegetables, cleaning pens, and learning what it genuinely takes to care for animals like zebras, horses, goats, camels, and ostriches.

And then they’ll make art about it.

We add in art and theater so kids process and express what they’re experiencing — a sketchbook moment with a camel, a short skit about a rescue story, or a painted portrait of their favorite animal of the day.
