It also means Christmas and New Years parties, office holiday parties, school performances at our kids’ schools and many other festive soirees. For many of us ladies, an LBD is our go-to item, but this holiday season is all about shimmer, shine and color and stepping out of your comfort zone just a bit.

Embrace fabrics such as velvets, satin and sequins in jewel-toned shades, but don’t be afraid of Winter whites and pops of bright pink, which are both on the scene right now.
