Fleet Week San Diego: November 8-12, 2023 at various locations in San Diego
Fleet Week San Diego is an annual event that celebrates the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The event features a variety of activities, including ship tours, military demonstrations, and educational exhibits.
Veterans Day Boat Parade: November 12, 2023 at 9:30am in the San Diego Bay.
The Veterans Day Boat Parade is a parade of decorated boats that will sail around San Diego Bay. The parade is a free event and is a great way to show your support for veterans. View the parade from the shore of Shelter Island, Harbor Island, San Diego Embarcadero, Seaport Village and Coronado Tidelands Park.
USS Midway Veterans Day Celebration: November 11, 2023 at the USS Midway Museum
The USS Midway Museum will host a special ceremony to honor veterans on Veterans Day. The ceremony will feature a flag raising, a wreath laying, and a performance by the San Diego Veterans Chorus and FREE admission.
Salute to Service Festival: November 11th at the USS Midway
- NBC7 & Telemundo 20 host the biggest Veterans Day celebration in San Diego. Live music, kids’ activities, contests, free food & drink samples. Mt. Soledad Veterans Day Ceremony: November 11, 2023 at the Mt. Soledad National Memorial
The Mt. Soledad Veterans Day Ceremony is one of the largest Veterans Day ceremonies in the country. The ceremony will feature a keynote address, a musical performance, and a gun salute.
Veteran’s Day Parade: November 12th in downtown San Diego (Harbor).
The San Diego Veterans Day Parade is the largest Veterans Day parade in California. The parade features marching bands, floats, and veterans from all branches of the military.
Escondido VetFest Parade and Festival: November 11th from 9:30am-11am.
The Escondido VetFest Parade and Festival is a celebration of veterans and their families. The event features a parade, a festival with food and vendors, and a live music performance.
